Of Rogues and Bands

Rogues, loners, same diff. A horse can be born outside of a herd, or it can be banished. They can have a mate, but if they have a foal, they might want to consider forming a band. There is, after all, safety in numbers.

Any rogues or loners can form bands. Bands are kinda like herds, they have a dominant horse and members that follow the leader's orders. However, they are smaller than herds and do not have a territory. They usually stay on neutral territory, but they can invade and raid herd territory if they really want to. They can be peaceful or hostile, it really depends on the leader.

As of now, there is a limit of three bands. This may change as the site grows. Within a band, there is a limit of one leader. five adult members (includes the leader's mate if he/she has one), and five foal members (includes leader's children if he/she has any). The band leader may banish any members at any time if they wish. Also, bands can be allies or enemies--with each other, and with the herds.

Name of Band: Los Viajeros

Description of Band: Los Viajeros --the travelers. This band never stays in the same place for more than a season, instead wandering the lands at will. Herd boundaries and territories mean nothing to them. Generally easy-going and preferring flight to fight, members of Los Viajeros are more likely to make friends than enemies, but when they do make enemies, they are bitter ones indeed.

Tomahawk Band

Description of Band:

Tomahawk is lead by the one and only Demon, the black stallion with red tinted eyes. The soul symbol of this band, Demon is leader and there is no question of it. Tomahawk wonders the lands, reeking havoc over any who get in thier way. Thier main residence however is the desert and canyon areas, places Demon prefers to stay in. The pickings are often hard, which, according to Demon, makes for tougher members. If ever to come up on a stranger, Demon will normally play with his/her head, always trying to provoke a fight. It is ever rare that Tomahawk will strike first, but fighting is in thier nature, and killing comes with that. Mercy is spread thin amongst the group, meaning there is little to go around, even for the members. But power and greed run thick and more power is sought after, meaning not every member is who they seem... the question is... Who can you trust?

Name of Leader: Valkyrie
Name of Band: End to Cause
Description of Band: The leader is strong. It is strange to see a mare as the main leader, but she seems to pull through. Many have critized her, and been put to their death. She wants her band strong, and unforgiving. The band loves to cause chaos amoung the more peaceful herds. The mare will often steal members, and convert them to her. She is leader, and all who question her, will be put in place. The band repects all that respect them, and do not pose a threat. And even though they cause havoc amoung others, it is for pure fun, unless you threaten her, or her band in anyway, even if simply making a verbal threat. A phsycial threat will have you killed. The band loves blood in battle! Even if it is their own. The will lick their own blood, that of other band members, and even the enemies and attack harder, until death.
