Backcountry

The forested part of the Darksun Herd's territory is thick, dark, and dense. It's a little thinner near where it meets the badlands, but the trees get much thicker as you venture further in. It is made up of all conifers, with uneven ground. Despite this, it is a priced part of their territory, mostly for the beautiful (and good-tasting) lake in the center, and for the shelter it provides during the winter.
