``st louis' military academy
St Louis' has been classed as one of the best Military Academies in all of Europe, perhaps even the world. Since it was first founded in 1906, it has been prosperous and many of the pupils who marched through those doors went on to do amazing, heroic things in their lives. With some of the best teachers & army officials in france, St Louis has been known to have the power to whip any wild teen into shape; have them following rules by the end of a term.
The academy brings strict to a whole new level.
``pour mineurs
In 1996, St. Louis was asked by the french government to take part in a trial scheme to do with Juvenile Dekinquents on the streets of France. The Academy, feeling it was very capable of straightening out juveniles, happily agreed.
The scheme was a great success, and evetually, by 1998, other countries, such as Ireland, The UK, Spain, Italy & Germany also were taking part in the scheme. Juveniles from all over Europe got sent by courts in their own countries to the military academy in france, where they lived in a strict environment so as to encourage good behaviour & create "model citizens".
But teenagers being teenagers, where still able to find ways to cause controversy in the school.
Along with the Juveniles, comes two other classes of people at the academy.
You have your everyday students, who's parents have paid big money for them to come and have a perfect, army-related education, in the hopes that their little cadet will grow up to do their country proud. Usually, they're happy to be there. But some of them don't want to be in the military, most would rather be doctors. Or sit home all day.
Then you have your Army Kids. Real army kids, who's parents are well known in their country, and who live on the estate at the entrance of the Academy. They're probably the snobbiest people you'll ever meet on campus. They know everyone you need to know, so if you get on their wrong side, you could find yourself quite quickly in Solitary Confinement. Beware.
The ArmyKids hate the Juveniles. The Juveniles hate everyone. The proper students try to get on with everyone, sort of your "middle of the road" group. But really its a dog eat dog world, so you'll learn from experience that everyone is out to get you, and no one is your real friend.
Just remember, the Academy has, for 102 years, prided itself on being one of the strictest schools in Europe. They don't take kindly to rule breaking. Meals are eaten in silence. Uniforms worn everyday except Sunday. Polished boots. Lights out at nine. Up at 6am. Not really the ideal place to be, when you add in the tiresome, dirty obstacle courses. But the shooting range is kind of fun..
Welcome to St Louis Military Academy, France. Enjoy your stay..
