In the days of long ago there were four groups of wolves. The brave, Gondyn; The just, Harmor; The unknown, Jermal; and The vile, North Land. These kingdoms lived in quiet seperation. Occasionally a wolf would come from one kingdom to join another but that was all. This peace did not last long though. Something was stirring in the North Land. Their ruler, a crooked and nasty wolf named Snake took complete power of the North Land. Soon wolves from every kingdom joined his vile ranks. Wolves with black hearts left the honorable kingdoms to join the Northerners.
Snake and his wolves grew and grew in size and strength. Soon the kingdoms became worried. Jermal and Harmor became closer and were soon tight allies. Gondyn remained alone until they were persuaded by a young male to go into battle with the other good kingdoms. They would never win against the North Land alone. This male's name was Gorge. He led them into battle beside Jermal and Harmor. On wide plains the four kingdoms met and they fought for six days. Many wolves lost their lives but Gorge survived. The king of Gondyn was killed and the brave Gorge was named king of Gondyn.

Many lives have passed since that battle. The battle field is nothing but a lonely plain, dark and alone. Not many wolves remember the battle itself, in all it's glory but in myths and legends. It was no legend though. There is another legend that has been unearthed though - one that has not been heard in ages. The tale of the golden stone. It tells of a stone, bright and solid as gold that is a small gift from the gods. It was hidden though until a wolf found it and used it for good. The stone took hold of him though and he tried to rule all kingdoms but was killed by a wolf who didn't agree with his rule of all kingdoms. It is only a pup's tale though and is told with many different twists.
This stone is real though. Many wolves believe it to be legend but no, it is real as day and night. The battle that was fought long ago will be reforged and the kingdoms must re-unite once more under a strong wolf's rule. The kingdoms are not a close as they were long ago though and it will be hard this time. A new pawn is set to play though. The North Lands are home to the Golden Stone yet no wolf knows - or do they? All these factors will be played into the world of Xaedin and will effect the fate of all. Will evil dominate or will the just rule once more? You decide.
