A bit of history
Many years ago on the eastern edge of Korando was the largest pack anyone had ever seen. We were easily two-hundred strong, and growing steadily. We were quite the sight. We were the Blood Carrior Pack and it seemed to us that no one would dare take our lands from us; we were peaceful, but we were not a pack to be provoked.
There was a portion of our pack who saw the "happy medium" in our predicament. They claimed that we couldn't stay the same forever, that we did indeed need to make a few changes, but that Shadow and his followers were going overboard. Force wasn't their answer, but expansion was. In the end, war was the only answer.
This was the first time we'd met our Creators here on Korando. Our dear godess, Charon, giver of discoveries, creator of love, deliverer or death, appeared amidst the battleing in her shining form. Needless to say, the fighting stopped as soon as her radiant light hit us. We were immidatly ashamed, and most of us weren't even sure why.
Now, I must admit: I was not in the fight. I had stayed away, watching, learning, while my kin destroyed themselves. But when our god spoke, even I felt the pain in his voice, the anger we felt at ourselves. Even I was afraid of my creators. You fight over such silly nonsence, Charon added. Whether you expand or not does not truely matter! You think your days spend in Sezilartuen, the relm of the dead, will care if you expanded or not? Of course not!
Who We Are...
It took a day to calm the fighting, but our Givers finally did. We resolved the conflict in a way that had never crossed our minds. Although it hurt some of us - myself, Kyo, and many others - the pack split up. However, we were also punished for our wrong-doings against our kin. Charon and Thoros cast a spell upon the wolves and the lands of Korando. We grew... all of us. Instead of being three feet tall, we were amazingly tall; five, six feet when on our paws. The trees grew as well, and our pups. Everything was huge.
Our neutral kin became Central Blood, for they landed their packlands in the middle of the three terratories to separate us from those who might try to take over once more. They became rather uncaring of the world, only of each other.
Sometimes, I still wonder if, after all of our mistakes, it is possible for us to ever reach the Haven, even in death. We have killed so many of our brethren, have turned so many corners we can never undo. Will you find some way to get there?

Who We Were...
Our alpha, Kyo, wasn't a wolf to fight. His heart was full of love and content, his only desire for things to stay the way they were. But unfortunatly, not all of us felt the same. Shadow, his beta, believed that our pack was enough to take on any, and he wanted us to grow and move, take over other lands, and gain room to expand. Shadow wasn't alone. Many agreed with him; almost half our pack, in fact. There was a large conflict between the alphas, beta, medicene wolf, and many trusted members of the pack. Some of us wanted to stay the way we were; we, of course, sided with our alpha. Others, however, agreed with Shadow. And yet there were still others who thought we were both wrong.
There was a portion of our pack who saw the "happy medium" in our predicament. They claimed that we couldn't stay the same forever, that we did indeed need to make a few changes, but that Shadow and his followers were going overboard. Force wasn't their answer, but expansion was. In the end, war was the only answer.
Who We Became...
We held the bloodiest battle any of us could remember. It lasted two full weeks, and we lost quite a lot of our once magnificant pack. Kyo and his followers wiped out Shadow and his. Half of Shadow's hoard attacked those who were indifferent while the other half - himself included - attacked Kyo. It was a mess; you couldn't decipher one mass of wolves from the other. Our innocent were killed as well if their parents did not agree with one way or the other. We were destroying ourselves, and we couldn't see it.
Charon stood there, proud and brooding, looking at us all there, stained in the blood of our kin and filled with hatred for those who were our family. Behind her came her mate, our god Thoros, causer of aging and lust, the giver of life. He had created Charon, and they had created us. Together, they had made us: their children. Thoros stepped forward, his voice ringing out across the land. Children, why is it you fight? Do you now know that you are the same? Have you no shame before your mother and father?
Now, I must admit: I was not in the fight. I had stayed away, watching, learning, while my kin destroyed themselves. But when our god spoke, even I felt the pain in his voice, the anger we felt at ourselves. Even I was afraid of my creators. You fight over such silly nonsence, Charon added. Whether you expand or not does not truely matter! You think your days spend in Sezilartuen, the relm of the dead, will care if you expanded or not? Of course not!
Sezilartuen. Oh, how that word still gets to me. The relm of the dead, located in the Haven - our true destination in life. It is said that when a wolf dies and his spirit retires to Sezilartuen, he is treated as a hero, for he has made it to the Haven, a place away from the biasness, the hatred, the harsh truth of life. Every wolf alive has the single goal to get there, but it seems impossible to arrive there alive. As far as we know, none of our kin have ever succeeded in making it there.
Three seperate domains were made of it, and we set our boundaries that very same night. Our names were changed, even those of us planning to stay the same. We became BloodBond, for all of us left made a promise then and their to bond ourselves to one another, to accept any who needed to feel the love and bond of a pack.[/blockquote]
Our neutral kin became Central Blood, for they landed their packlands in the middle of the three terratories to separate us from those who might try to take over once more. They became rather uncaring of the world, only of each other.
And lastly, Shadow's band of followers became Bloodlust Pack, for they were willing to attack anyone they felt unworthy of their grace, were willing to attack others for land that was not theirs, to take and to steal, allowing the bloodlust to overcome them. They became picky of their packmates, and began to only accept a certain kind of wolf.
Sometimes, I still wonder if, after all of our mistakes, it is possible for us to ever reach the Haven, even in death. We have killed so many of our brethren, have turned so many corners we can never undo. Will you find some way to get there?
