What are the meanings behind your character's names? Any funny stories? Do they match their personality, or did you just give them the first name that popped into your head? Share here. =]
Esperanza - means "hope" in Spanish.
Alasdi - I believe I got that from an American Indian {Cherokee? I don't quite remember} word for "fight".
Nombre - This is actually a funny story. Back in 2005, I did not speak Spanish, but I was looking for a Spanish name for this character...but the online dictionary confused me, and I dubbed him "Nombre", which I later found out actually means "name". I don't even remember what I was origanally trying to translate. And it's funny because now, four years later, I am actually semi-fluent in Spanish. xD
