Today, I heard that someone left this Earth Someone disappeared
Nothing could be heard except the occasional chilly wind that blew through the area where two horses quietly searched for food. One, a white stallion and the other, a bay mare. The stallion raised his head, looking around for danger before going back down to graze, a small snort escaping his nostrils. His brown gaze soon settled on the bay mare that grazed a few feet away from him, saying nothing.
Left no mark Here Today, I heard That someone just got up and left themselves lying on the ground
Still pretty quiet, I see he thought as he went back to grazing, remembering the time he had found her during the late autumn. From what he saw, it looked like a battle had taken place, taking three lives and it was one horse who she was lying next to, crying quietly, not even remembering her own wounds. He had soon convinced her to stand up while he cleaned her injuries, seeing that she was still in a state of shock. Ever since then, he stayed with her and vice versa. And ever since then, she had not said a word, not one. He didn't even know her name, not that he minded since she didn't even know his name either.
Coming back to the present, his white head soon raised to the sky as he watched the gray clouds move above him and the mare. A small nicker escaped his maw before he continued to graze, silence settling over them again. {Quiet In My Town}

sometimes my visions are distant and vague It was cold--too cold. The mare walked at a slow pace, head down to protect her eyes from the howling wind. Her thin spotted coat didn't offer enough protection for her.
The appaloosa mare lifted her head, brown eyes searching the lands. The overcast sky rendered the distant mountain invisible. There was nothing but flat grassland stretching into the horizon. The brown-gray grass was coated in a thin layer of frost.
Dried blood was caked onto the skin above her left knee, and she was putting less pressure on that leg. She couldn't recall how she had gained that wound. It was just there, just the same as the land.
Her legs were about to give out when she heard a nicker in the distance. The mare lifted her head, a strange flicker of hope kindled in her eyes. Hesitant, her ears twitched, listening for an answer. None came. She limped foreward a few more paces, then stopped and threw her own head back to answer,
down at the base of a mountain
