Megami paraded about a small clearing in the forest. Her black and white tail was whipping behind her. She was a crazy filly with insane in the brain. She rolled in some dust and snorted. She leaped up and bounded towards a tree, wildly kicking about. She rolled down by the tree and lay silently there.

[[esperanza]]

She had been paranoid in the last few months. After...after that incident with the rogue, Esperanza wasn't letting herself be caught off guard again.

The palomino tried to remember what peace felt like as she walked through the forest, the summer sunlight through the trees casting dapples on her golden coat. If you payed attention, you could notice some stiffness in her gait.

Seeing the gray filly lying still beneath the tree was not something she was prepared for.

The elder panicked, her eyes going wide. She cantered toward the filly, only to see her chest rising and falling like normal. She was just a young girl having fun, like they were supposed to.

Like she used to.

Finding herself in an awkward situation, the elder stepped away and began to graze, trying to pretend that she hadn't just randomly panicked.

The filly had seen the elder come over. It was funny to see her worried face then a sudden relief. Megami rolled over and stabled herself on the earth. She cavorted over to the elder.

Hello, my name is Megami. Or Mega... Doesn't matter.

The filly pranced about the grazing elder. She kicked high in the air and thrashed about with happiness.

Megami heard a young horse nearby. Hanging around elders can be boring at times, so she trotted off to mingle with the newish herd member.
