A smirk showed up on the stallion's face as his plan started to work..or so he thought. As he neared Thunder, Coldheart came barreling through and imbalanced the younger horse off his hooves. Not what I had in mind, but it works he thought as a split second later, he made to follow her when the bay leader blocked his path.
An angry snort escaped his nostrils as his teeth started to bare, preparing to fight his way out if he had to. He was outnumbered, sure, but with Alasdi's limp he hoped it would be relatively easy to get out.
So much for true love..
Blue optics narrowed at the stallion's mocking words and he felt anger boil up inside him. As if you would know anything about love, Alasdi he hissed, saying the bay's name in disgust. Tossing his head, he took off after Coldheart, his white tail flicking toward Alasdi, hoping to slap him across the face or nose. Either would work for him.
The dapple gray didn't get very far as something suddenly impacted his side making him hit a tree. Baring his teeth, he looked to see a snow white stallion ready for battle, his head lowered to fight.
Where do you think you're going, Cimarron? snarled Kavik as he kept his eyes on the gray, oblivious to the other horses standing there, much less his leader. Graystorm glared at the other before he took off again, barely missing Kavik's teeth as they grazed his hindquarter.
Kavik snorted in anger and was about to follow him when he noticed Thor, Thunder and Alasdi standing there. Tossing his head, he flicked his eyes toward the bay. Should we go after them, Alasdi? he asked, his tone slightly holding an edge to it as he was still simmering about missing an opportunity to capture the dapple grey.
Graystorm's hooves kicked up dirt as he ran after the mare, dodging trees and jumping logs. After a few minutes, he was at her side, a grim expression crossing his face that soon disappeared as he noticed the blank look in her eyes. At that he didn't know what to do and he knew that leaving her birthplace must be heart wrenching for the mare, but he didn't say anything since what could he say? Sorry? Tossing his head, he nickered to Coldheart before he lengthened his stride and lead her to the woods of the Cimarron. [/blockquote]
