MOON ECLIPSE
The village was quiet...a little to quiet. The snow and strong winds had driven the humans into the tepee's and they had not come out yet. Some of the horses staid close to their owners tepee's or where around the tepee's, but one horse, Moon Eclipse, was on a hill close to the village. The same hill Rain and Spirit had been on...but she did not know that. The beautiful black Arabian was maybe the only of her kind. No one knew where she had came from, or how she had got here, but the Indians like her.
Moon had a deep, dark black coat. Some says it is darker then night itself. Also, she had a blue moon shaped mark her owner had put on her. Moon was around 16 hands, tall for a Arabian. She has long, muscular legs that helped her run on the rough terrain when she was riding. She has a wide chest, and high crest due to her Arabian blood. Her withers where powerful, helping her carry a large amount of weight. Moon had a small head and small ears giving her beauty but she did not gloat about it.
The mare was nibbling at some grass she had dug up, but she was mostly watching for any sign of a wild horse. She was used to the other horses but she was aching to find and know about a wild one. She had been wild herself, but then tamed when she was driven here by a storm. She was a good horse when she wanted and her owner liked her a lot and thought their self as lucky to have a horse like her. She was a truly on of a kind.

The brown paint may have been a bit brave trespassing on two-legged lands, but he had heard these two-leggeds were not as harsh as the others. Still, Hidalgo was on his toes, ready to flee the moment any two-legged showed itself. Not really caring for humans at all, Hidalgo preferred his life as is; wild and untamed.
The scent of a mare was strong, and Hidalgo was following it out of curiosity. Being a curious, fun-loving stallion, Hidalgo was always looking for something to do. Ears pricked at the sight of a black mare, grazing alone. Unsure if she was friend or foe, Hidalgo stood quietly under the cover of the trees, watching her quietly. Not wanting to seem hostile or having bad intentions, Hidalgo snorted quietly to show that he was there, not yet saying anything.

{Just a little nitpick--minor innacuracies aside, we're trying to have a realistic RP here. The Lakota Indians wouldn't have an Arabian horse. Perhaps she could have Arab blood, since Mustangs are descended from horses the Spaniards brought over, but she definately wouldn't be a full-blooded Arab. >.<}

(sorry she had some Arabian blood and more mustang...sorry again about that) MOON ECLIPSE The wind had changed and Moon had picked up the scent of a stallion long before she heard his snort. She turned her head and pricked her ears in his direction. With a soft snort back, she took and step forward and threw up her head, unsure of him.
Moon slammed her front hoof a couple times on the snow then she finally spoke " I am Moon Eclipse, a captive horse, Who may you be?" she said quietly and eyed him with doubt. He was wild indeed due to his earthy and non-human scent. He was also the first brown and white horse she had seen in her life.
The wind changed once more and snow blew into Moon's face. She snorted softly and glanced back to the tepee's and other horses. Why had the others noticed the stallion and why was he only watching her, or she thought he was only watching her. Moon glanced back at the brute, waiting for his reply and wondering what he was doing here...

Dream Catcher trotted around in her pen. Why hadn't Moon Singer let her out? Suddenly her boy was at the gate smiling. "Sorry girl, come on out," he stated with a smile as he gave her a pat on the rump. She nuzzled him and whinnied. She noticed a brown and white stallion under a tree talking with Moon Eclipse. Dream may be slightly annoyed when a wild horse came on human lands; it was like they were asking to get caught. She nuzzled Moon Singer as he left to go to a meeting. She swished her tail and began to graze. Not to long ago there had been a mare named Sunlight Streaming passing by. Dream's boy had almost led her into a corral when he noticed the mare was heavy with foal. Of course Singer didn't know what to do but he let the mare go free so her foal would be free. Dream and Sunlight had become friends in a short time so it was hard to see her go but that's what happens when you speak to wild horses. Of course, Dream knew where Sunlight went. Sunlight said that she'd go to the Pool of Peace because she'd be safe there, as would her foal. Maybe I'll go visit her Dream thought to herself. She looked in the direction in which Singer went. That was if Singer let her.

'I am Moon Eclipse, a captive horse, Who may you be?'
The brown & white paint stood straighter, neck bracing back as he loked the mare called Moon Eclipse over. An ear twitched back, listening to be sure none where behind him, before he answered her. This was a rare occurance for Hidalgo, as he never ventured on the lands of the two-leggeds. Remaining in the shadows, unseen from human eyes, he spoke to Moon Eclipse.
"I am Hidalgo, rogue of the lands."
The stallion spoke with a strength of uncertainity if he actually wanted to be talking to a captive horse. The thought of being held captive made Hidalgo sick and he did not dare want to have that thrust upon him. He would definately keep his guard up.
