f r o m [t h e] f e a r [t h a t] s w a l l o w s y o u r [l i f e] She watched, stunned, as Graystorm battled the cougar. "I'm fine," she answered, although her voice was shaky.
Her eyes caught site of the wound in his chest. Esperanza gasped; it was bleeding freely. "Are you alright?"

His eyes soon went to the wound at his chest which was still bleeding rather heavily. Yeah..he went in deeper than I thought he answered as he looked around for anything to stop the bleeding. Small dots covered his vision as he found that he was about to faint and he laid down, panting. Pushing some snow to his wounds, he flinched slightly as a powerful burn went up through his chest, but he ignored it as best as he could. Sighing, he looked up to Esperanza. What a day, huh? he said, trying to make light of the situation.

f r o m [t h e] f e a r [t h a t] s w a l l o w s y o u r [l i f e] Her warm brown eyes flooded with concern. "Stay here," she said in a commanding tone before trotting off. A few minutes later she returned, holding a mouthful of green, sweet-smelling, leafy plants. She dropped them next to Graystorm's chest and used some snow to press the plants against the wound. "Yarrow," she said. "It should help with the pain. I'm surprised it's still growing..."

Dark blue eyes watched as the palomino trotted off, wondering where she had gone off to. A moment later, the scent of something sweet filled his nostrils and the stallion immediately recongnized it as yarrow. He smiled at Esperanza's words and nodded. Yeah..I'm surprised anything could be growing with this cold he answered as he gathered more snow and pressed it more firmly against the wound. Small spots of blood stained the snow and his eyes narrowed. He hoped he could at least last through the night.

y o u [d e c i d e] She shivered as a cold breeze passed through the cieling. Tossing her head back to gaze at the sky, Esperanza noticed that it was already snowingin the mountains. She lay down next to Graystorm, hoping to keep him warm. "Will you be alright?" w h o [w i l l] y o u [r u n] t o [?]

The stallion watched the palomino lay down next to him and he nodded at her question. Yeah..more or less..I think I'll make it through the night at least he answered, a small smile crossing his muzzle. Snorting softly, he laid his head down on the snow, dark blue orbs watching as snow fell on the mountains that he knew were going to turn into freshwater springs when it got warmer. He sighed and looked up to the sky watching the cloudy abyss move above his head.

w r o n g [o r] r i g h t Esperanza closed her eyes. It wasn't long before the first cool drops of snow were melting into her pelt. She sighed and rose to her legs, shaking her fur. Her golden coat was much thicker now, and though the shaggy hair could be troublesome, she was glad for it now.
"Perhaps we should go further in," she nickered softly. t h e r e n o [r e a s o n]
