Slowly, a gray stallion cautiously made his way into the thick forest as his azure eyes flicked around for any hostile equines. Being of the Cimarron herd, he knew he wasn't even allowed to be in this teritorry, but he didn't care. Tossing his head, he stopped beneath a large conifer tree before lowering his head to graze as he kept watch for any other signs of life or more specifically, a certain bay mare that he hoped to see.

A small bay mare, fully grown however, galloped out to confront the Cimarron member, ears pinned and teeth bared. She slid to a stop in front of him, almost for certain going to fight him, but then a sly smile appeared on her maw and she nipped at his forelock with a chuckle. Her eyes searched around in cautiousness for others of her kind around but saw none, then looked back to Graystorm.
“Fancy seeing you here. Especially in the daytime. Don’t you know that its dangerous for a Cimarron to be upon Darksun lands?”
Coldheart knew full well he knew that but she just wanted to hear his real reason for being here, or what she thought was the real reason.

At the sound of hooves, he snapped his head up as his body tensed, azure orbs flicking around for any signs of movement. Then a mare appeared, her whole body preparing to fight when she nipped at his forelock. A small smile crossed his face as he heard her words. Fancy seeing you here. Especially in the daytime. Don’t you know that its dangerous for a Cimarron to be upon Darksun lands?
Smirking, he tossed his head before nipping at her own forelock. I know..but is it a crime to want to come see you? he answered, his smirk turning into a grin. ( Clicky ^^)

Coldheart smiled as he nipped her forelock, laughing a little at his words… but she knew that in the Darksun Herd it was a crime for a Cimarron to come onto the lands, and she could have shuddered at the thought of what Alasdi would do if he found out she was falling for a Cimarron.
“Not to me… but to others, it may be. We just… have to be careful.”
Coldheart couldn’t believe that she was the one to be cautious but she guessed it was more for Graystorm and not herself. She knew Alasdi could kill over a matter like this. The bay swished her tail and started walking away, the cool autumn breeze blowing against her face.
“Come on. How about a walk? I know where some good apple trees grow, that is, if you’d like some.”

Not to me… but to others, it may be. We just… have to be careful.
At her words, he nodded as he glanced around for any signs of other Darksun members especially for Alasdi. He knew if the Darksun leader found them it would most certainly mean death for either them both. Snorting, he tossed his forelock out of his face as he saw Coldheart walking away. Hearing her words, he grinned and nodded. Sure he answered, trotting after her.

Coldheart smiled and picked up into a trot, keeping ahead of Graystorm. Then she picked up into a canter through the thick forest, dodging left and right through the trees, leaping over bushes and dodging under branches.
"Try and keep up, Graystorm... if you can!"
She laughed tauntingly to Graystorm as she rounded another tree. She knew exactly where she was going, she'd run this path a many times before.

He watched as Coldheart sped up, dodging trees and rounding bushes. He smiled as his blue eyes sparked in a challenge. You're on he called as his gait turned into a gallop. Despite his muscular frame, he was pretty agile and quick. He grinned as he followed her, jumping over a fallen log as he appeared beside her. Told ya I can keep up he said, grinning.

Coldheart chuckled as he came up beside her, feeling the hot breath of challenge upon her. The bay took a challenge straight to heart, being very competitve.
"We'll see how long that'll last..."
Ahead, she knew was a clearing where the apple tree was, but right in front of the edge of the clearing was a ditch and if you didn't know the area, it would be almost impossible to jump it. Coldheart ran faster and as she neared the clearing, she leaped over the thick shrubs that hid the ditch, calling out,
"Hope you have swift hooves!"

Hearing her words, he chuckled before calling back. You don't have to worry about that!. Speeding up, he sailed over the ditch before landing gracefully on the other side. Coming up beside her, he leaned his muzzle close to her ear before whispering. You're not the only one who knows these lands. A grin crossed his muzzle as he increased his stride and ran ahead toward the apple tree

'You're not the only one who knows these lands.'
Coldheart smirked, shaking her mane, a few leaves and twigs that had snagged in it dropping to the ground.
"So, you've been around here on more than one occasion. You're either really smart and can avoid almost any Darksun member... or your just looking for a deathwish."
The bay, with a swish of her tail, trotted to beneath the tree, looking up at the ripe apples. Gathering her energy, Coldheart leaped in the air, snagging one out of the tree and dropping back to the ground. She offered it to Graystorm.

His ears pricked at her words and he chuckled. Maybe I'm just really smart and can avoid almost any Darksun member. he said, grinning as he stopped beneath the tree. His azure gaze watched as she leaped up and grabbed an apple before offering it to him. Graystorm let out a nicker of thanks before taking one half of it in his mouth, his lips brushing her muzzle before he swallowed his half.
His gaze soon fell to a rose bush a few feet away and he trotted toward it before he plucked off a rose, careful of its sharp thorns. Walking back to Coldheart, he offered it to her. I'm glad I didn't avoid you though he said, grinning.

If her hue had been white, her checks would have blushed bright red when his muzzle brushed against hers. At the offer of the other half of the apple, Coldheart took it, returning the touch of her muzzle against his. She ate it and watched as he trotted away, seemingly to a bush. He returned with something in his mouth, offering it to her. Coldheart recoginized it as a rose. She smiled and took it from him, careful herself to watch the thorns, ears pricking to his words. She smiled, reaching back and carefully placing the rose on the crest of her mane so that it stayed, then looked back to him.
"You know, somehow I feel you really didn't have choice if you could avoid me or not." She said with a grin. "I would have found you either way."

He watched as she placed the rose in the crest of her black mane and the corners of his mouth lifted up in a smile as his gaze softened. Beautiful.. he murmured, his tone soft, he wasn't even sure if she heard it or not. Hearing her words, he chuckled before taking a few steps toward her. I guess you could have..either way I'm glad you managed to find me he said, tugging at her black mane in an affectionate manner.

'Beautiful..'
Ears barely pricked to the word but she had heard it alright. How could she not? She'd never been called that before, not even by a stallion from her own herd and yet here was a Cimarron, telling her that. But then... as if her herd didn't matter anymore, Coldheart began to think of only them two, just as mustangs. Not of any herd or what even Alasdi would think, all she cared about was being with him. As he tugged her mane softly, Coldheart returned the gesture, then nuzzled him.
"And I as well."

Feeling her return the gesture, he smiled, hearing her words. Grinning, he nuzzled her back before nibbling her forelock as his blue gaze met hers. The fact that she was from a rival herd had already dispersed from his mind as the fact of what Alasdi would do if he ever found out of her betrayal. All he could think of was them, together, running side by side away from everything. A soft snort left his nostrils as he nuzzled her again before speaking. Coldheart...I love you. I know you're from a different herd and that Alasdi is your leader, but I love you he said, his voice gentle and soft.
