[cause.][i.][dont][really.][feel.][it.]
I don't believe In the smile that you leave When you walk away And say goodbye
A young, elegant dappled gray mare stood in the dry plains of the grasslands. Her head was low to the ground, hidden by her sleek gray mane. She nosed through the dry grasses, feeling for any good green grasses that could have survived the summer heat but she knew it was not likely there would be any green grass here. This was the Badlands.
Well I don't expect The world to move underneath me But for God's sake Could you try?
Misty sighed, lifting her head and looking out across the plains. She pawed the ground a little, then stomped her hoof down, letting out another sigh. The sun was just breaking the sky, flowing warmth over her body as she stood catching its rays. Misty began to wonder where the rest of the herd was and if they felt a drag like she did. She couldn't explain it. It was a bad feeling inside her she didn't like... like she was cold and alone.
I know that you're true to me You're always there You say you care I know that you want to be mine
With a sigh, the dapple gray dropped her head again and continued her fruitless search for greener grass.

He's a stranger to some And a vision to none He can never get enough Get enough of the world
As the sun slowly rose over the desolate plains a white stallion walked across the land, his brown orbs flicking this way and that for any other signs of life. He knew he was in herd teritorry, so he had to be careful in case he came across any hostile equines. Tossing his head, a soft snort escaped his nostrils as the breeze ruffled his white mane and tail.
Sighing, he slowed to a stop before looking down at the grass. Hardly something he would eat, but it was better than nothing. Keeping one eye on the horizon, he lowered his head to graze then snapped it back up again as he spotted something or more like someone. Chocolate orbs narrowed as a mare crossed his line of vision. The stallion backed away a bit, not knowing if the mare was hostile or friendly. For all he knew, she could attack him on the spot. Tossing his head, he kept an eye on the mare as he tried to slink away, not wanting to get into a hostile situation.

Misty pushed a dried stick out of the way of her muzzle and saw a few strands of fresh grass. She went to nibble them, when her eyes caught movement. The dappled gray mare snapped her head up, ears pricked towards the white mass and realized it was a mustang. The wind was in her favor, sending the mustangs scent straight for her nose and she could tell he was a stallion yet he had no scent of Darksun upon him, nor any Cimarron. He seemed like he was trying to sneak away without being noticed. Perhaps he was uncertain about herself so Misty nickered out to him in hopes he wouldn't leave so soon without giving a chance to know who he was trying to flee.

A soft snort escaped his nostrils as he saw that he had been spotted. Stopping, his tail swished in the wind as he stood there, uncertain if he should flee or stay. Staying for a bit couldn't hurt.. he thought as he tossed his head, watching the mare. Sighing, he took a step toward the mare, but was ready to flee in case she turned aggressive. Slowly, he came closer until he was a few feet away from her before speaking in a quiet tone. Sorry to tresspass..I'm just looking for some place to stay for a while. Not the best way to start a converstation, but he tried.

As the white stallion began to approach, Misty dropped her head again to snag up a few bits of grass. Only when he spoke to her did she raise her head.
"I see no problem in staying here... however, you may want to avoid Alasdi. He doesn't take well to strangers unless they actually wish to join the herd... The grazing isn't good but you can occasionally get a few good strands of grass. By the way, I'm Misty of the Darksun herd."

Hearing the mare's words, the stallion nodded. I've heard of him...but I've known worse he said, tossing his head. I'm Kiba. Snorting, he lowered his head, pulling up a few blades of grass before lifting it and looking at the dappled gray mare. How long have you been in his heard? he asked, lowering his head again.

Misty went to grazing again as he spoke, but only got a few blades of dry grass. At his question she lifted her head.
"As long as I can remember... I grew up with the herd."
The dappled gray swished her tail in irratance at a fly, then looked out across her home.
"It doesn't seem you are of a herd. I guess you a rogue then?"

As long as I can remember... I grew up with the herd
At her words, the stallion nodded, getting another mouthful of grass or as much as he could anyways. Letting out a soft snort, he looked toward the horizon, searching for danger. Once he was sure there was none, he turned back to Misty, hearing her next set of words. It doesn't seem you are of a herd. I guess you a rogue then?. He nodded, a small smile crossing his face. Born and will die one...maybe he answered, lowering his head to graze again.

Misty chuckled at his statement, cocking her head in a slightly seductive way. She lowered her head to graze beside him, replying to his statement as she did so.
"It sounds like your not too sure about your future." Misty raised her head and turned as if to walk away. "Or... it could just be that you know not where the winds will take you. That you wait to see where you will be blown."
The dappled gray looked back over her shoulder at him with a soft smile, but with a flick of her tail, she trotted off a ways, finding a bit better grazing a few yards off from the white stallion.
OOC: I wasn't really sure how Kiba's personality would be so far as relationship-wise but I though it would be kinda fun to have Misty be all like, hard to get or something like that. ;D I'm not sure how you wanted to Kiba to "fall" into the relationship or gradually go in or however. I'm still pondering.

(Actually that sounds like fun ^^) The stallion watched Misty out of the corner of his eye, catching her tilt her head in a seductive way. He raised an eyebrow then a small smirk crossed his face. At her words, he raised his head, auds pricked. His head tilted slightly as his chocolate pools narrowed a bit. Perhaps.. he responded But it sounds to me as if you don't know what your future holds either.
Seeing her trot a few yards away, his lips twitched in amusement as he followed her, watching her look back at him, a smile on her face. He chuckled as he stopped beside her and lowered his head, starting to graze again.

A sly look entered her eyes, hidden from the stallions’ view, as he followed her. She smiled to herself as she continued to graze, seeming to ignore him. She took another few steps away from him, tail swishing a bit as if egging him on.
“Maybe… but then again, who does?”
The dappled gray lifted her head, scanning the area out of habit searching for danger. Besides a bear lumbering along the outside edge of the forest, there was really nothing to worry about.
“Of course, some know that it is possible to control your future to an extent… “ She looked at him from the corner of her eye. “What does your future hold?”

Maybe… but then again, who does?
A smile crossed his face as he snorted and tossed his head, getting his forelock out of his eyes. True he said. Auds soon pricked at the sight of a bear lumbering along the edge of the trees and he found his body tensing out of habit. Relaxing, he flicked his eyes toward Misty who was had taken a few steps away. Hearing her words, his head tilted and his brown eyes narrowed in wonder. What did is future hold?. You know, I don't really know. But I guess I'll wait and see he answered, a small grin crossing his maw.

You know, I don't really know. But I guess I'll wait and see
Misty smiled at his words, looking back at him with that same seductive look, and it would seem that she winked with a bat of her eye. But before an assumption could be made, she turned and started to walk across the Badlands, tail raised in a proud like manner, head raised high just as well.
“I guess so.”
[Here I am] [This is me] [There's nowhere else on earth I'd rather be] [Here I am] [It's just me and you] [Tonight we make our dreams come true]
Misty nickered and kicked into a canter across the plains, feeling energy flow through her, white tipped tail whipping behind her in a cool summer breeze that blew, which was found to be strange in the Badlands, but it was here blowing her onward to who knows where. She let her banner wave, as if tempting the rogue stallion to follow...

Chocolate pools glinted in amusement as he watcher her cast a seductive look at him and batting her eyelashes. The stallion tossed his head and smirked. Then she turned and started to walk away, tail raised in pride. A light chuckle escaped his maw as he followed after her, turning his gait into a canter as he came up beside her. I don't know if its my eyes tricking me, but it looks as if you're trying to seduce me he said, grinning.

The dapple mare couldn’t help but smile to herself when she heard his hooves match hers and he was soon along side of her. Misty gasped, as if taking offense by his words and slid to a stop, pawing the ground.
“Oh, really. Well, I can’t believe you would say that.” She scoffed, holding her head up in a snobby way and trotting off a ways, saying, “Stallions.”
But her stride still held that same ‘Follow me’ attitude, and she was close to bursting out laughing from this little ‘game’ she was playing. He seemed to know what was going on but as long as he kept playing along with her, she was gonna keep him guessing the entire time.
